Shitty, crappy, handicap hand!

My hand didn't get better over night! The pain is worse and I can almost not use it. I can't manage to use any kind of force/strengths, so something as grabbing on or something is out of my way.

Everyday thing like brushing my teeth or to strap on my bra, was a hell of a striving. And I'm supposed to work as a waitress for 8 more days with this crappy hand? FML...

Has swelled up quite a bit...

Pain in finger joints

My first day for helping out for the Sunndal Cultural Festival, and at the end of the day I started to get pain in the finger joints. Especially after much use of the hands in any respect.

After such a session my fingers is stiffer, and it is difficult to make a fist.

I noticed it especially when cleaning, if I clenches my fist little too hard, I also get pain when I start to open it again. Especially at the joint closest to the palm, but also in the following.

Wonder if it is inflammation... Anyways, it's bad timing, I gonna work as a waitress for about 10 days, and I just started. And I do need the money! Can't get a sick leave....

FML...

At the dentist

For this Chinese New Year I made some traditional Chinese New Year snack, Sweet Egg Twist (蛋散dansan), and gave it as a present to my parents. So when my old man in good faith put his teeth on one, the snack that I made, kind of broke his tooth... we heard a cracking sound...

So that brings us to where we are now, and it's confirmed that snacks has kinked my old man's tooth.


Note to self - Next time (if there is a next time), remember to use butter and eggs 🤣

Visiting Grandma


I have from the start of this trip said "vacation", but the main reason, or the main factor I decided to take some time free from my studies, is because of Grandma. She is hospitalized for stroke.

She have been hospitalized since Sunday, 13th January, at that time they didn't think she may survive, but against all odds, she is recovering. She have in 2 months been exercising and got acupuncture, and can now move her right hand and foot. However, the left side and the ability to speak isn't quite there yet.

After a one-sided conversation with Grandma, the doctor informed that she is well enough to be moved to a nursing home at Ap Lei Chau, the district where she lived before the stroke. She will be staying at the nursing home around 3 months, give and take, before she can go home to Grandpa.

We chose the nearest nursing home so Grandpa, who also are poor in health can easily visit her. We hope this will give more motivation for Grandma for quicker recovery and set her mind at ease, since hospitalized she only have been worrying for Grandpa and wanted to go home.

Keeping up!

In late December 2012, I started to notice improvement in my exercises, so much that my current workout plan doesn't give me any challenge anymore.

After talked with my coach about the issue and wanting a new plan, he was not entirely convinced because of the surgery I had, and didn't want to rush things. After much ado it ended with he won't give me a new plan, but he will upgrade the current plan where I can run faster and lift little more heavier, only if the doctor approved of it.

After a health check with my doctor, and got approval to the upgrade, I can now speed up from 8.5 to 10,0 km/h in 24 minutes, however the incline is the same as before.

Following by 5 sets and 10 repetitions, instead of 3x10:
  • Leg pres from 60 kg to 80 kg
  • Leg curl from 12,5 kg to 35 kg
  • Stomach from 35 kg to 55 kg
  • Seated rowing from 15 kg to 25 kg
  • Chest pres from 15 kg to 25 kg
  • Pull down from 20 kg to 35 kg
  • PecDec from 12,5 kg to 25 kg
  • Stretch lower back on the bench from 3x10 with 0 kg to 5x10 with 10 kg
So if this continues, then I think that I may be straightforward in-shape again in no time. However, it's almost a shame that I'm going to Asia for almost 3 weeks soondestroying the fine rhythm and habit... Hopefully I will not be completely out of shape after the vacation.

Bris Fitness Center

After my surgery, I have not quite managed to get back to sports or any kind of exercises, but after approval from the doctor in October - November 2012, I finally got signed up at a fitness center.

The training has gone better than expected, and I have so far kept it in a superfine flow. I have been given a workout plan to keep up with every other day, and have even got some friends to join me.

The workout consist about 24 minutes stamina on the mill, with a program that's divided into 16 steps:

Heating:
  • Step 01)     0:30 min., 5,5 km/h, 3,0 % incline
  • Step 02)     1:00 min., 6,0 km/h, 4,0 % incline
  • Step 03)     1:00 min., 6,3 km/h, 5,0 % incline
  • Step 04)     1:00 min., 6,0 km/h, 4,0 % incline
  • Step 05)     1:00 min., 6,2 km/h, 7,0 % incline
Set 1:
  • Step 06)     2:00 min., 8,0 km/h, 2,0 % incline
  • Step 07)     1:00 min., 9,0 km/h, 1,5 % incline
  • Step 08)     1:00 min., 9,5 km/h, 1,0 % incline
Pause:
  • Step 09)     1:00 min., 5,5 km/h, 2,0 % incline
Set 2:
  • Step 10)     3:00 min., 8,5 km/h, 2,0 % incline
  • Step 11)     2:00 min., 9,0 km/h, 1,5 % incline
  • Step 12)     1:00 min., 9,5 km/h, 1,0 % incline
Pause:

following by various strength training, where everything is with 3 sets and 10 repetitions.

  • PecDec 12,5 kg
  • Stretch lower back on the bench 3x10
Depending on how I feel I may add little extra on the plan, such as the plank, sit-ups/curl with and without the medicine ball, bench or weight, etc.

Knausensenteret - After

Well then... I have been to the shrink

and... well... I don't know if he was of some help
everything he told me, I knew from before, so like I though, the whole thing, waste of time. He was OK, but far from good.

New appointment next week, maybe I will get something out of it then...
I doubt.

It's strange to sit there and talk about your stuff to a stranger and he sit there and act all that familiar with you like he do understand you. Do he really understand?

Don't feel comfy at all.
It's like he observe me like some kind of a extinct race or something. It's creepy, and it's make me feel like a psychopath.... which I'm not quite yet - LoL

Knausensenteret - Before

I'm going to Knausensenteret tomorrow
fucking dread...
It's a psychiatric polyclinic, and last time I talked with a shrink... it didn't end well...

It's was after my friend commit suicide.
The shrink, sat there and acted unprofessionally.
He said "I understand you"

WTF do he understand?
Has he seen someone commit suicide in front of him?
NO! So how the fuck do he "understand" how I fucking feel?

It ended with that I totally fucked up his office, and the office lady had to called 911.
Since that, I haven't been to the shrink.

I have to deal with my grief on my own, it doesn't help that others say "it wasn't your fault", when I fail to think that way. So they let me skip the shrink, however, I had to provide a monthly report on how I was or feel.

Fair enough. Anything is better than one hour with shit talk.

Anyways, this time is about school. One of my teacher suspect me of having cheated on one exam.

I want to emphasize that the only basis for my teacher has a suspicion of cheating is that he
found that two of the four questions could not possibly be as similar ones on the sensor guide, unless I had used junk funds, otherwise I had to have a photographic memory.

The teacher had taken various exams that have been published previously, and put it into a new one.
I was lucky to have practiced on an exam booklet with two of the stated tasks.

Allow me to point out that the sensor guide for those old exams paper was published on Fronter where all of us students have access to practice for the exam.

I have argued, discussed and explained with the teacher and the school since February,
to prove my fucking innocence. But it doesn't look like any help.

The worst thing is that the character wasn't any good, it was only a D. If I really had cheated, I had at least focused on a B or a C at least....

But here I am, sitting with a headache, frustration and stress, and the one I trust and talk to aren't present, and give comfort or support either.

What a wonderful life...

Diet for those who have the will - only 3days

Dette er en 3 dagers meny, som du selv bestemmer hvilke ukedager det skal være på.
Jeg har personlig prøvd ut menyen for å teste om den er effektiv eller ei, og må si at det hele var veldig effektiv, men det kreves vilje styrke.

Det jeg liker med denne oppsettet, er at etter 3 dager, kan man spise normalt igjen.
Jeg merket at etter 3 dager, hadde magen "krympet", selv om jeg kunne spise vanlig kost igjen, har porsjonene blitt mindre for hver uke (jeg fulgte menyen i 1mnd).

Indigriensene som er satt sammen gir en "kjemi" som gjør at du "renser" tarmene.
Derfor er det viktig at du følger det til punkt og prikke.

NB!
  • Hver dag minst 5 glass med vann
  • Drikk mer vann mellom måltidene, hvis du føler det "klør" i tennene (jeg brukte å drikk 1 glass med vann før måltidene i tillegg, for å få den "mett" følelsen)
  • Ikke noe sukker eller melk i te/kaffe
  • Bare salt og pepper som kan tilsettes i matvarene


 Dag 1:
  • Frokost:
    • 1 toast med peanøttsmør
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Lunsj:
    • 1 toast med 1/2 boks med tunfisk (ikke i olje, men i vann)
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Middag:
    • 2 skiver med kjøtt (kjøtt type: valgfritt)
    • 10 grønne bønner
    • 10 svarte druer
    • 1 eple
    • 1 kule vanilje is
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
 Dag 2:
  • Frokost:
    • 1 toast med 1/2 banan
    • 1 kokt egg
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Lunsj:
    • 1 yoghurt (valgfritt smak)
    • 2 salte kjekser (jeg brukte Ritz)
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Middag:
    • 2 pølser (valgfritt, men helst lite fett)
    • 1/2 brokkoli
    • 10 svarte druer
    • 1/2 banan
    • 1/2 kule vanilje is
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
 Dag 3:
  • Frokost:
    • 1 eple
    • 1 salt kjeks med 1 skive ost (anbefalt: hvitost, mindre smak/fett)
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Lunsj:
    • 1 toast med 1 kokt egg
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe
  • Middag:
    • 1 boks med tunfisk (ikke i olje, men i vann)
    • 1/2 blomkål
    • 10 svarte druer
    • 1/2 banan og honningmelon
    • 1/2 kule vanilje is
    • 1 kopp med te/kaffe

Det er ikke noe garanti at dette er den rette dieten for deg, selv om jeg syns den var effektiv betyr det ikke at den er like effektiv på deg - keep in mind that we're all build differently.
Derfor vær forsiktig, ingen kjenner kroppen (forhåpentligvis) bedre enn deg selv så vær snill med deg selv.
